There are several organisations that we actively support as part of our business. We recommend the following organisations for your consideration.
UNHCR is the UN international body that is responsible for identifying and helping refugees. Webdoor regularly donates to this international cause.
Sanctuary Northern Rivers is a regional not for profit organisation that has helped approximately 200 people who were previously refugees, find a new life on the North Coast of NSW. Some of our staff are personally involved in this good news story.
"The Winsome", aka "The Lismore Soup Kitchen" is also very close to our hearts :-) Some of our staff regularly help with their web needs, and also personally volunteer with a regular event that occurs at 'the winnie'.
The Our Kids Charity in Lismore is also one of our personal favourites. Such events as the annual Lismore Samson Fitness Challenge, the annual Darrel Chapman Fun Run, and the wonderful "Our House" accomodation facility near Lismore Base Hospital are all connected with Our Kids.
